Christian Poézévara is one of those very special people. He spends a lot of time on tape recorders repair. I was communicating with him online few years, and sent him parts he needed and got few very rare French tape recorders from him. Finally I decided to visit him in his house that located not too far from Paris. I took a train from Paris to this beautiful part of the country. Even though his collection is not large, it is very interesting and unique. It includes French tape recorders I have never seen before. Christian and his wife was kind to treat us to an authentic French dinner at their home, and we talked about tape recorders and collecting.

Christian is able to restore any old machine. He is a bright technician and warm person, which is what I have found to be the case amongst collectors of reel to reel tape recorders.
